Jeffrey C. Hart, an attorney with Robinson Bradshaw, was recognized by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly as a 2015 Leader in the Law. As an award recipient, Hart represents the most influential individuals within the state’s legal field who go above and beyond in their profession and their community.

Hart’s extensive involvement in the Chapel Hill area includes working with UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School as a business coach; serving at University Presbyterian Church as an elder, youth teacher and committee chair; and coaching youth sports at the Chapel Hill YMCA. His service reaches further throughout North Carolina as a grants panelist for Charlotte Arts & Science Council and as a member of the McColl School of Business Entrepreneurial Leadership Circle.

Hart contributes to the state’s legal community through membership on the Technology and Emerging Growth Companies Committee and the Lawyer Referral Services Committee for the North Carolina State Bar Association. He is on the board of directors of the North Carolina Board of Science and Technology and chair of the Business Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association Ethics Committee.

As the founder of Robinson Bradshaw’s Triangle Office, Hart’s primary areas of practice include private fund formation, private investment transactions, joint ventures and other business transactions. Additionally, he co-chairs the firm’s Institutional Investors practice group. Hart earned his law degree in 1997 from Duke University. A Phi Beta Kappa, he graduated cum laude and with honors from Davidson College in 1994, where he was a Ken Kelley Scholar.
