Mr. Davis has a diverse commercial litigation practice that includes matters involving contract disputes, business torts, real estate and construction litigation, insurance coverage, antitrust law, commercial lease disputes, sports and entertainment law, and media law. He regularly appears in both federal and state courts, and also has experience resolving disputes through ADR mechanisms, including arbitration and mediation. Mr. Davis also maintains an active pro bono practice representing low income tenants and victims of domestic violence.
Before attending law school, Mr. Davis was an award-winning newspaper reporter in Florida at the Ocala Star-Banner and the St. Petersburg Times. His beats included law enforcement, legal affairs and investigations. His background as a journalist gives him unique insight in advising clients involved in high-profile matters, as well as matters involving the First Amendment, defamation, public records and open meetings.
