Mr. Miller’s practice areas include private equity and venture capital, sports and entertainment, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. Mr. Miller has experience representing private equity funds, venture capital funds, and private individuals in connection with business formation, capital-raising activities, and investments in portfolio companies and funds. He also represents small- and medium-size companies in a general counsel capacity, advising with respect to the creation of capital structures, private offerings of securities, equity incentive plans, commercial contracts, and strategic transactions.
In addition, Mr. Miller dedicates part of his practice to sports law, primarily advising clients in professional golf and collegiate athletics on endorsements and general legal matters. Mr. Miller was featured in the July 25, 2011 issue of the SportsBusiness Journal with a guest column that details ten legal issues to consider when developing endorsement contracts.
