Intranet: Citrix Metaframe

Citrix Metaframe

Citrix Metaframe Clicking this icon will launch the Citrix Metaframe Web Client. Citrix is a type of terminal connection that allows you to run remote applications as if they were running on your PC. For example, you will be able to run a copy of Outlook or DocsOpen that looks and acts similarly to what you would see if you were sitting in your office. The processing of the application actually takes place on the server, and only the display of the application is sent to your PC.

Citrix is currently setup with the most popular RBH applications, including Outlook, DocsOpen, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, RightFax, DTE, Summation and Deltaview.

In order for Citrix to work properly, some Citrix client software must be installed on your computer (version 7.0 or greater). You can install the Citrix client software from the Citrix Web Client Logon page, or you can download the latest client software directly from Citrix (http://www.citrix.com/download).

Complete directions for connecting to Citrix are available here
