Mr. Brittain’s practice focuses on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and investments. He represents private equity groups and companies in a variety of industries in merger and acquisition transactions in both public and private contexts. He also represents financial investors and other lenders in complex financing transactions and in making non-control investments at every level of a company’s capital structure including senior secured, second lien, and subordinated debt investments and common and preferred equity investments. Mr. Brittain also has experience representing issuers and underwriters in connection with registered offerings and securities laws compliance. He was previously associated with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York.
