Robinson Bradshaw is pleased to announce three new shareholders: Laurin C. Ariail, Fitz E. Barringer and Amanda Pickens Nitto.

Ariail is a corporate attorney with a focus on fund formation and investment management. She advises private fund clients on a variety of matters, including representing fund sponsors in fundraising and institutional investors in connection with investments in private investment funds. Ariail also has experience advising both fund managers and institutional investors in connection with co-investments, investment management agreements, internal firm operations and governance, as well as other investment advisory, regulatory, compliance and securities matters.

Ariail earned her law degree cum laude and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her bachelor's degree from Davidson College.

Barringer advises and represents clients in the resolution of complex commercial disputes and employment litigation. His experience includes defending corporations and business executives in contractual disputes, class action litigation, false claim actions and employment matters in both state and federal court. He also has experience representing clients before administrative agencies and licensing boards. In addition to his litigation practice, Barringer works with corporate and nonprofit clients to avoid legal disputes through prudent management, compliance and organizational practices. 

Barringer earned both his law degree with highest honors and his bachelor's degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Nitto is an experienced class action litigator, and she represents companies involved in high-stakes business disputes. Her experience includes defending class actions and assisting clients in bet-the-company litigation, complicated employment disputes, shareholder and partnership governance issues, derivative actions and securities litigation. Licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, Nitto regularly advises clients in state and federal courts in both states, including the North Carolina Business Court. She is also an expert in managing the massive e-discovery burdens of big cases.

Nitto earned her law degree magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina and her bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Roanoke College.
