Robinson Bradshaw has launched Carolinas Class Action, a blog covering class action developments in North and South Carolina. The blog reports on recent cases involving all federal and state courts in the Carolinas, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

“We created the Carolinas Class Action blog because we saw a need for coverage of class action developments in the Carolinas,” said David C. Wright III, editor of the blog and attorney who represents defendants in complex and varied securities, corporate and ERISA class and derivative actions.

“Although there are several blogs that report on national class action developments, none focuses specifically on cases that have broad implications for businesses in North and South Carolina,” he said.

Carolinas Class Action offers insight into class action developments on topics ranging from arbitration and appeal to statutes of limitations, damages and settlements. The blog also features a section dedicated to coverage of recent filings and developments in class action lawsuits throughout the Carolinas.

“Robinson Bradshaw has one of the most active class action practices in the Carolinas and a deep understanding of the complexities presented when defending these kinds of cases,” Wright said. “We hope this blog will serve as a resource for the insurance, business and legal communities, as well as our clients, with respect to game-changing precedents that are coming out of the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as lower courts in the Carolinas.”

Blog contributors include litigation attorneys Everett J. Bowman, Stephen M. Cox, Adam K. Doerr, Robert W. Fuller, Robert E. Harrington, Thomas P. Holderness, Susan Miller Huber, Mark W. Merritt, Sinéad N. O’Doherty, Amanda R. Pickens, Stuart L. Pratt, Matthew F. Tilley, John R. Wester and Richard C. Worf Jr.
