Robert W. Fuller

Mr. Fuller’s practice focuses on counseling business clients and resolution of business disputes through litigation, negotiation, or ADR mechanisms. He has experience in corporate, financial products, banking, partnership, fiduciary, securities, tax, and general commercial matters. He also has experience with governmental investigations and has coordinated the defense of a number of class actions and putative class actions. In addition, he routinely provides legal counsel to a collegiate sports conference in both litigation and general business matters.

Mr. Fuller has spoken at a number of seminars, including (i) the 2011 NCBF Seminar on Antitrust Issues in Sports and Entertainment (on broadcast agreements), (ii) the 2008 NCBF Seminar on Amateur Sports and the Law (on a variety of topics, including broadcast agreements, student-athlete eligibility, and event agreements), (iii) the 2008 CLE International Private Equity Conference (on commitment letter issues), (iv) the ABA Young Lawyers Division 2007 Fall Conference as a member of the panel on Introduction to Business Courts Program, (v) the 2007 North Carolina Bar Association Seminar concerning Complex Litigation in the in the N.C. Business Court, (vi) the 2006 Mecklenburg County Bar Business Litigation Forum concerning Practice Before the North Carolina Business Court; (vii) the 2002 Mealey’s/LexisNexis Seminar concerning The Changing Face of D&O and E&O Liabilities and Insurance in the Post Enron Era (Short Hills, N.J) (on Sarbanes issues), (viii) a 2002 seminar co-sponsored by RB&H and the Belk College of Business of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte concerning The Sarbanes-Oxley Act Of 2002--Focusing on the Provisions Concerning Accountants and the Audit Function (on fiduciary considerations), and (ix) the 1997 Sports Lawyer’s Association Annual Conference, San Diego, California (on corporate issues involved in formation of collegiate athletic conferences and similar associations).
