Mr. Holderness has resolved disputes and tried cases since 1990. He also helps clients avoid problems through pre-litigation counseling. His practice focuses on trust and estate litigation, shareholder derivative actions, money mismanagement claims, contract disputes and taxes.
Mr. Holderness also maintains an active pro bono practice through the representation of victims of domestic violence, low income individuals in conflict with the Internal Revenue Service, and low income tenants.
Mr. Holderness worked for the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice from 1990-98.
